Corona – self-help

Dear visitors of the RoseWelt Natural Medicine Practice and dear interested customers

Due to the known corona virus situation, I would like to note here some tips, both for prevention, but also to fend off a viral disease. Since a visit to the practice is not possible for everyone, you will find some good information offered here to one or the other for self-help. I do not wish to make any comment here on the Corona virus itself. But communicate some suggestions, which I also use to maintain health, prevent the spread of the virus, as well as defend against it if symptoms appear.

With every viral infection is to be expected an increase of the common, existing symptoms. Corona virus likes to attack the respiratory tract, lungs. High blood sugar, high blood pressure, depression, etc. can worsen despite good medication. A pre-existing disease may also show more severe symptoms due to a virus. This does not even have to be the Corona virus.

Therefore, there are some of the many tips which make sense to support and stimulate the immune system, metabolism, digestion, well-being in general. These measures do not replace a consultation of the doctor!

Upon request, my practice provides some products for pick-up. Advice is also available through a phone call.

1. hygiene – about it I do not say much more it is in everyone’s mind.

2. drinking, especially water. Rule: 30 ml per kg of body weight (for a person weighing 70 kg = 2.1 liters of water – WITHOUT coffee WITHOUT milk (milk is not a beverage), WITHOUT sweet drinks and NO coffee

The body needs pure fluid, for metabolism, for the formation of enzymes, hormones, for the fluidity of the blood, for the cerebrospinal fluid, for the brain, etc.rinse water as a form of carriage. That’s just the water!

Those who forget or do not like to drink the water (often a sign of hyperacidity, etc. ) are offered some opportunity as an incentive:

a. Water with fruit slices (kiwi, pineapple, lemons, ginger, oranges, fresh herbs…)

b. Every hour drink a glass of water (approx. 150 ml) already prepared. (set timer every 1 h!)

c. Take Schuessler salts No. 7 Magnesium phosphoricum and No. 9 Natrium phosphoricum for 1 week 2 tbl (or 10 globules) each every 2 h. (does not replace drinking water, but promotes natural thirst behavior and deacidifies the body.

3. herbal teas to purify, eliminate toxins, support liver and kidney work, bind heavy metals, balance fungal activity in the body.

a. Thyme tea helps with lung problems, bronchitis, especially cough and pertussis.. The ingredient stimulates the activity of the ciliated epithelium in the lungs and liquefies stuck mucus, making it easier to cough up.

b. Rosemary tea detoxifies the organism, helps with fatigue, high blood pressure and digestive problems. Has a calming effect on the nerves.

c. Mugwort Artemisia has a healing and prophylactic effect against many diseases: Cancer, skin cancer, all types of viruses (flu Aids, Lyme disease …), bacteria, neurodermatitis, gynecological diseases, digestive problems, inflammations, warts, …

d. Cistus, its action against all kinds of infections, strong antioxidant protective effect for the cells, anti-aging agent, strong against all viruses, prevention of age diseases such as atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. Resembles a disinfectant from the inside.

e. Frankincense (boswellia serrata) reduces inflammation, strong anti-inflammatory effect and protect healthy cells from attack. The ingredients also have analgesic, decongestant and antibiotic effects. Helps with rheumatic and intestinal diseases.

f. Ribwort plantain (named “Medicinal Plant of the Year” in 2014), recommended as a tea or extract for symptoms of the lungs and digestive tract. Has antibiotic, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory effects. So it helps especially with skin inflammations and insect bites, flatulence, bloating, restless bowels but also respiratory disorders, bronchitis….

4. enzymes – the smallest, most important “construction workers” of our body, every droplet, no matter how small, is analyzed, decomposed, reconstructed, disposed of. Enzymes are crucial for the entire metabolism. From digestion through metabolic processes to the translation of genetic material into proteins, enzymes are involved as biocatalysts. (For enzyme deficiency: pain, diarrhea, allergies, indigestion, itching, skin rashes, heart palpitations, glandular dysfunction….)

a. BioRegulat Immun or Hyaluron are naturally produced juices from pure enzymes (Dr. Niedermeier – CH).

b. Freshly squeezed juices from vegetables or fruits, herbs contain pure enzymes.

i. Curcuma (fresh turmeric juice) with ginger, lemon and agave syrup topped up with water à Curcuma = greatest antioxidant, Vit. Vitamin E supplier, anti-inflammatory, strong enzyme.

c. Grapefruit juice is very rich in minerals and supports the metabolism in a natural way (be careful when taking medication at the same time).

d. Fermented products such as soy tofu, sauerkraut, nattokinase and … have enzymes.

e. Chicory salad contains natural pro-biotica inulin as an enzyme.

5. foods, which have a lot of acid: Reduce animal protein, fats (cheese, meat, milk, eggs, but also gluten, sugar, partially wheat,..), best to do without.

a. Vegetable protein is better utilized and supports the immune system.

i. Legumes, nuts, tuber vegetables, peas, rice: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/protein-for-vegans-vegetarians#TOC_TITLE_HDR_3

b. Cashew nuts, for example, in the preparation of sauces, also sweet creams provide a high content of vitamin E and is an excellent antioxidant.

c. Avoid industrially produced fats. Recommended are avocado, olive, coconut, sesame, linseed oils. The last as an omega 3 fatty acid supplier.

6. sufficient sleep is important. Best time to sleep: between 21:00 to 6:00. “Sleep is the best medicine”.

a. Between 21.00 – 23.00 a big cleaning of the tissue takes place.

b. During sleep: Damaged cells are repaired, the immune system is strengthened, the body recovers from the day’s activities, the heart and circulation are recharged for the next day.

c. While the body sleeps, it goes through two phases of sleep: REM (rapid eye movement) and NREM (or non-REM, non-rapid eye movement). For example

a hormone that is important for our growth and development is only released in the last phase of NREM sleep. If REM and NREM cycles are repeatedly interrupted during the night, whether by snoring, breathing difficulties or frequent awakenings, this can have a long-term effect on important physical processes (e.g. cell regeneration..) on our health and well-being (visual disturbances, eye diseases, etc. would also be important to consider…).

7. dietary supplements support the body in case of deficiencies, here to mention only a few:

a. Vitamin A is important for growth, function and structure of skin and mucous membranes, blood cells, metabolism, as well as for the visual process. …

b. Vitamin B – All B vitamins are important regulators in carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism. They have an overall metabolism-activating effect. Important for blood formation, radical catcher, THE nerve vitamin.

c. Vitamin C – is involved in the regulation of oxygen supply of cells and is needed for the synthesis of other endogenous substances. Vitamin C is also needed for the production of collagen (=protein in connective tissue), as well as for the formation of cartilage and bone tissue

d. Vitamin D = THE skin vitamin, light vitamin, has hormone-like properties. Vitamin D is a group of fat-soluble vitamins that belong to the secosteroids (a class of hormones in the body), and are important for calcium metabolism. Vitamin D is indispensable for our body, bone health. It strengthens the immune system, bones and supports our muscles. It is formed from cholesterol in the skin and kidneys through exposure to sunlight and is also absorbed through food.

e. Vitamin E – damages in the body proteins, the structure of cells and also DNA (eg from degenerated cells or cancer or …). The cell-protective function of vitamin E slows down aging processes, protects against cancer and cardiovascular diseases. As an antioxidant, vitamin E influences the control of the gonads

f. Vitamin H – or biotin is in the body especially a crucial part for metabolism. It supports the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates and is also involved in energy metabolism. … Biotin is also an important component of glucose formation. Supports hair, skin, nails.

g. ….

8. physical measures are methods to through the skin the body to detoxify toxins, hyperacidity, heavy metals (especially through frequent irradiation: CT, MRI, X-ray…), fungal load. The skin is the 3rd kidney, represents the largest contact organ and therefore enables the body to perform a great cleansing function.

a. Salt bath: Mix conventional salt with a shower gel and rub all over the body – similar to a full body scrub. Shower and then apply cream. It is an intense cleansing action of the body and takes place not only physically but also on a spiritual level.

b. Brush massages stimulate metabolism and meridians.

c. Cupping massages stimulate the lymphatic flow and helps to eliminate waste products and loosen adhesions.

9. exercise: Muscle work is essential for the formation of energy and oxygen. Our entire energy metabolism is dependent on muscle performance. The small nuclear power plants (mitochondria), especially in the muscles, control our entire existence. Mitochondria metabolize, burn, move, detoxify, harmonize, regulate … the body systems. The more active a person is, the more energy his body produces.

a. Stretching exercises in the morning (10 min)

b. Rotation exercises: Lie on the belly and alternately pull the stretched leg up to the gluteus and rotate lower leg outward gently back to the starting point 8-16x . Then the other leg:

i. stretches pelvic muscles, deblocks the pelvis,

ii. Coccyx and sacrum are relieved

iii. Releases back pain in the lumbar region,

iv. stabilises the upright gait, gives more security when walking

c. jogging on the spots, strength exercises with water bottles or other light weights

d. Strengthen abdominal muscles: Lying on the back, lift and touch legs and arms at the same time 8-16x.

10. reduce stress as much as possible, relax, meditate (https://www.rosewelt.ch/meditation/), listen to relaxing music (e.g. https://youtu.be/1MPRbX7ACh8 ).

11. create visions: how a situation should look like, if this situation does not develop exactly as desired.

a. Conscious solution-oriented thinking

b. Cultivate positive thoughts

c. Seeking interaction with positive people and situations

Sincerely, Rosemarie Wagner
